Amplesound Ample Guitar G2 liefert liefert einen dynamischen, abwechslungsreichen Klang, der sich auch mit den besten virtuellen Gitarren messen kann. Vier Velocity-Layer und Round Robins, die nach einem rhombischen Verteilungsalgorithmus automatisch ausgesucht werden, bewirken, dass in der Praxis keine Note wie die andere klingt.

Die AGG Software kommt mit der original Schaltung für die Tonabnehmer daher und bietet einen guten Klang. Auch hier sollte man mit dem Einsatz von virtuellen Stomp Boxen und Amps vorsichtig umgehen, denn sonst klingt es schnell vermatscht. Für virtuelle Aufnahmen sollte eine MIDI Gitarre, anstelle eines Keyboards eingesetzt werden. Damit läßt sich noch mehr aus der Software heraus kitzeln.
